We offer annual tuition divided into 12 equal monthly payments. This makes it predictable and easy to budget for families.
Payment should be made during the last week on previous month and first week of the upcoming month. If the payment made before the 1st day of the month it would be very appreciated.
We accept zelle, cash, PayPal or personal checks. All fees and tuition are subject to change
Bow & Key Music Academy has official holidays:

No classes are given during this holidays unless the teacher can do makeup class during break after discussion with parents.
Registration Fee
An initial one-time registration fee of $40 is applied to the first month's tuition when a new student begins lessons.
Books & Materials
There might be additional fees for books and materials, based on the student’s curriculum and the teacher’s discretion.
Recital Fees
Twice a year students are given the opportunity to perform in our recitals. Students who participate are charged a small fee to offset the cost of the performance halls.
Festivals and Competitions
Price will be announced at the time of application period or at the beginning of the school year depending on specific situations.
Missed Lessons
We understand that there will be times when a student cannot make a scheduled lesson. We kindly ask you to notify teacher or the Academy via phone, email or in-person with at least 24 hours in advance so that we may fill that time slot with a make-up lesson for another student. In the case of unexpected illness or emergency events, it will be up to your discussion with your teacher.
Please be proactive and look ahead for potential absences; i.e. school events, vacations, etc.
Please note there are no make-up lessons available for Group Music Theory classes.
No Make-up Lessons allowed for No-shows
A No-show is defined as a missed lesson in which there had not been a 24-hour notification. Notification from the student/parent is required before the scheduled lesson via phone, email, or in person.
There must be a separate notification for missing a make-up lesson. No-shows for make-ups will be considered a forfeit of that lesson and will no longer be honored.
Withdrawal from the Academy
We understand that a student may need to withdraw from Bow & Key Music Academy no longer taking lessons). A 30-day notice is required via email.
Suspend one month of the lessons
Suspend one month of the lessons
Students may suspend their lessons and payments for full calendar months at a time. A suspension is defined as taking one month off in each calendar year with plans to return. Here are the steps and policies to follow for suspending lessons:
1) Timing of Suspension
Suspensions begin on the first of a month and end on the last day of the month.
2) Notification Requirement
A suspension request must be received 30 days in advance.
Requests may be submitted by email to the teacher and administrator.
Example: To suspend lessons for the month of June (June 1-30), you must notify us by May 1. In this case, you will not be charged for June and will resume payments in July.
4) Holding Timeslots
Before returning, notify of your return via email or phone call.
While it is not guaranteed that your regular times slot and instructor will be available, returning students are given priority over new students.
Permission to Use Student Images and Video
Students are occasionally photographed or videotaped. In some instances, images will be put on the Bow & Key Music Academy website for promotional and advertising purposes only. Bow & Key Music Academy reserves the right to use students’ photos and/or performance in public spaces, advertisements, and online content with the verbal consent of the parents.
